Four Rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated Open all scholastic players (K-12) from unrated to 1299. SECTIONS and PRIZES:
U1300: Open to scholastic players under 1300 and unrated. Trophies to 1st-5th place. Medals to all finish with 50% or greater that don't win a trophy.
U600: Open to scholastic players under 600 and unrated. Trophies to 1st-5th place. Medals to all finish with 50% or greater that don't win a trophy. Time Control: G/25; inc. 5; USCF dual rated (regular and quick).
Entry Fee: $45.00 if pre-registered by 5/13; $55 by 5/19; $60 on-site The field is limited to the first 40 registrants.
Schedule: On-site registration ends at 9:40 am. All players, including pre-registrants, please check in by 9:45 am.
Rounds: 10:00 am, 11:30 am, 12:45 pm, 2:00 pm
1/2-Pt. Byes: Available, limit two. Must request 1/2-point byes before round 1 begins. 0-point byes available at any time for any round. Unrated players must obtain a USCF membership (from https://uschess.org). Please arrive early (by 9:30 AM) if you need assistance on-site. US Chess Live rating will be used sections, pairings and prizes. Players may play up if rating within 100 points of the section requirement. Children may be dropped off at Chess Zone; please return by 2:15 PM to pick-up.

Georgia Chess Association is offering the least expensive way to join the United States Chess Federation! Scholastic memberships are $20 when purchased directly from USCF, but we’ve used our bulk rate to get the prices down to $10. Scholastic memberships are valid for players under 21 years of age.
Each membership is good for 12 months from the time of the activation. USCF memberships are required to participate in USCF rated tournaments.
