EVENT OVERVIEW

Five rounds, Swiss System, USCF rated.

Two sections:
OPEN (all): Open to all players, regardless of rating. 1st – $200 2nd – $100 3rd – $50 Top Class B – $35 Top Class C-E – $35 Top U1000 – $35
BOOSTER (U1000): Open to rated under 1000 and unrated. Trophies for 1st – 3rd place

Prizes based on 30 entrants. Unrated players eligible only for place prizes.

Higher of regular and quick rating will be used for tournament section, pairing and prizes. All players’ official ratings will be used per the USCF rating supplement for the tournament month. Players may play up if rating within 100 points of the section requirement; please add note when registering. Players may request not to be paired against immediate family members for first 4 rounds.

Time Control: G/15; inc. 10; USCF quick rated.
Entry Fee: $30.00 if pre-registered; $35.00 at the site. The field is limited to the first 50 registrants.
Schedule: On-site registration ends at 9:40 am. All players, including pre-registrants, please check in by 9:45 am; please call/text if going to be late.
