CHESS ZONE ACTION QUADS G/60+5

Format: Multiple sections of 4 players each. Sections are based on ratings from highest to lowest. Each section is a ‘Quad’. USCF rated.
Prizes:
· 1st place (per quad) – $70
· One senior prize of $35 to the top senior across all quads.
Notes:
· All players’ official ratings will be used as per the USCF rating supplement for the tournament month.
· Sections will be assigned based on players’ ratings. If unrated, live USCF ratings in any category may be used. Unrated players may be assigned a temporary tournament rating by the Tournament Director.
· USChess membership is required to register.
Time Control: G/60; inc. 5.
Entry Fee: $35.00 if pre-registered; $40.00 at the site. The field is limited to the first 52 registrants.
Schedule: On-site registration ends at 9:00 am. Registration closes at 9:45 AM. All players, including pre-registrants, please check in by 9:45 am. Please call/text if you are going to be late.
Rounds: 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm
1/2-Pt. Byes: No byes; players must commit to playing all three rounds in their ‘quad’
