CHESS ZONE JULY HEXAGON BATTLE G/15+10 Six rounds, round-robin + position round, USCF rated SECTIONS: up to 9 sections, 6-players per section. Sections based on ratings, highest to lowest. Each section is a “Hexagonal.” PRIZES (per section): 1st Place - $70; 2nd Place - $35. *Senior Prize: $35. Higher of USCF standard and quick rating will be used for pairings and prizes. All players’ official ratings will be used per the USCF rating supplement for the tournament month. Sections will be assigned based on player’s rating. Players with non-published (less than four games) ratings will be placed in their section per their USCF “live” rating. Players without a USCF rating will be placed in their section per the Chief Tournament Director’s discretion. *One 'special' Senior Prize awarded per entire tournament. Time Control: G/15; inc. 10; USCF quick rated. Entry Fee: $35.00 if pre-registered; $40.00 at the site. The field is limited to the first 54 registrants. Schedule: Pre-registration closes at 9:00 AM. On-site registration ends at 9:50 am. Please check in by 9:45 am; call/text if going to be late. Rounds: 10:00 am, 11:15 am, 1:00 pm, 2:15 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm. 1/2-Pt.
