Six rounds, Swiss System, USCF quick rated (will not impact regular chess rating)

Three sections:
CHAMPIONSHIP (1400+): Open to USCF rated 1400 and above. 1st – $175 2nd – $100 Top Under 1700 – $50 Top Senior – $30
RESERVE (U1400): Open to USCF rated between 900 and 1399. 1st – $150 2nd – $80 Top Under 1200 – $50 Top Senior – $30
BOOSTER (U900): Open to USCF rated under 900 and unrated. 1st – $100 2nd – $50 Top 700 – $30

• All players’ official ratings will be used per the USCF rating supplement for the tournament month.
• Section will be assigned based on player’s rating.
• Players may play up if rating within 100 points of the section requirement.
• If unrated, live USCF ratings in any category may be used. Unrated players may be assigned a temporary tournament rating by TD.
• Prizes based on 50 registrations.
  
  

Time Control: G/15; inc. 10; USCF quick rated.
Entry Fee: $30.00 if pre-registered by March 4th; $35.00 at the site. The field is limited to the first 50 registrants.
Registration: Register online at https://chess.zone.  On-site registration ends at 9:40 am. All players, including pre-registrants, please check in by 9:45 am; please call/text if going to be late.
Rounds: 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm
1/2-Pt. Byes: Available, limit two. Must request 1/2-Pt. Byes before Round 1 begins. 0-Pt. Byes available any round.
