Reserve Section: Must be rated under 1500

Open to all with USCF membership, please join or renew your USCF membership online before tournament. Entry fee is $40 at the tournament or $35 with early mail-in entry or online entry. (Please mail no later than 4/6). Early entries are encouraged. Make checks or money orders payable to Tim Staley. Mail early entries to Tim Staley: 10520 NW 28th Place, Gainesville, FL 32606. Please include USCF ID number, current rating and section. No credit cards accepted at tournament site. Register online at chessregister.com before April 7, 2016.
Prize fund is $600 based on a minimum of 30 paid entries. Open Section: First place $200 and 2nd place $100. Class prizes: U1900 $60 and U1700 $40. Reserve Section: First place $100. Class prizes: U1300 $60 and U1100 $40. Unrated players can play in either section and are not eligible for class prizes.
Rounds are at 10:00, 1:00, 3:45 and 6:30. Registration is 9:00 - 9:45. Byes: (1) ½ point bye available (must request before start of 1st round). Children under 13 must have adult supervision at the tournament site.
Please bring clock, set and board. None are provided. A refrigerator is available to store lunches.
