  • Scholastic Quick Start

    Our Quick Start tournament was held on Sunday 10/7 at the Perimeter Marriott with a turn out of 121 players. This was a great warm up for beginners and wonderful experience for many first-time tournament kids.  The GCA awarded 15 players USCF memberships and Top 3 trophies in each section.  Congratulations to all the kids who played - you've gained valuable experience.  Thanks to our many volunteers who made this event run smoothly and to parents for supporting your children in chess!
