Three sections: OPEN (1500+): Open to USCF rated 1500 and above. 1st $264, 2nd $168, 3rd $84. RESERVE (U1500): Open to USCF rated between 1000 and 1499. 1st $204, 2nd $132, 3rd $60. BOOSTER (U1000): Open to USCF rated under 1000 and unrated. 1st $156, 2nd $84, 3rd $48.
Sections will be assigned based on players’ Regular ratings published on the official USCF website (https://new.uschess.org/player-search). Sections may be combined at TD discretion. Prizes are based on 40 registrations. Players are encouraged, but not required, to bring their own chess equipment (pieces, boards, clocks).
Time Control: G/30; increment 0; USCF quick rated.
Entry Fee: $30.00. Methods of payment: Zelle, Venmo, checks or cash.
Schedule: Saturday, July 22, 2023. On-site registration ends at 9:45 am. All players, including pre-registrants, check in by 9:45 am; call/text if going to be late.
Rounds: 10:00 am, 11:15 am, 1:00 pm, 2:15 pm, 3:30 pm.
