Scholastic In 5 sections:
Under 1100: (Open to players rated under 1100 and unrated). Trophies: 1st through 5th places; Top Unrated; Top Female.
Under 850: (Open to players rated under 850 and unrated). Trophies: 1st through 5th places; Top Unrated; Top Female.
Under 600: (Open to players rated under 600 and unrated). Trophies: 1st through 5th places; Top Unrated; Top Female.
Under 350: (Open to players rated under 350 and unrated). Trophies: 1st through 5th places; Top Unrated; Top Female.
Unrated: (Open to players without a published USCF rating). Trophies: 1st through 5th places; Top Female.
All: Participants who do not win a trophy will receive a Participation Medal.
Entry Fee: $35 (online registration only – no registration at tournament site).
Registration deadline is March 30.
All participants must have a valid USCF membership at time of registration.
Schedule: Rounds. 11:00am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm, 4:00pm.
Time Control: G/30; d5.
Byes: 1/2 Point Byes available for Rounds 1 thru 3 (limit one); must request 1/2-Point Byes before Round 1 begins. 0-Pt. Byes may be requested at any time.
Players must bring clocks if they wish to use one. Clocks are not provided, but the Tournament Director reserves the right to place a clock at any game that is at risk of running later than the time control limit for the round. Remaining time will be divided equally between the players.
