Internet chess has its place. It's easy and convenient; however, why not try a new experience in over-the-board (OTB) play? It's a somewhat different game with its own challenges and pleasures.
1) GCA is the gateway to networking with other Georgia chess players.
2) Membership includes a one year, 6 issue subscription to the award-winning magazine,
Georgia Chess. Get familiar with the Georgia chess-playing community!
3) GCA membership is needed to play in GCA non-scholastic tournaments.
Scope out your competition by looking at their games in Georgia Chess! Your tougher opponents will be GCA members. If all former members of the GCA renewed at once, our membership would double easily! Membership is only $15 for adults and $12 for scholastic age (under 18). What a bargain!
