Georgia Chess Magazine

Best State Magazine in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 (Cramer Committee/Chess Journalists of America)

Georgia Chess is the official publication of the GCA. This award winning magazine is published six times a year and contains an array of information of interest to chess players of all ages and talent levels. Regular features include tournament schedules and results from around the state and region, instructional columns and articles by some of Georgia's top players, detailed game analyses, scholastic rankings and news, puzzles and human interest stories.

The magazine has garnered a number of awards over the past years, including 1999's Most Improved Magazine, Best Chess Magazine with Circulation under 1000 for 3 years running in 2001-2003 and again in 2004-2006, and Best State Magazine in the Nation in 2002.

It's a bargain which comes with GCA junior, adult or life memberships; and a key way to plug-in to Georgia's active chess community.
