$5000 (based on 100 entries) -- $3000 guaranteed!

5 Rounds “Swiss System” in Three Sections:

CHAMPIONSHIP (FIDE-rated) Section: (Open to USCF or FIDE-rated 1900 and above)

1st - $1000.00

2nd - $500.00 .. 3rd - $300.00 .. 1st Under 2100 - $275.00 .. 2nd Under 2100 - $125.00

 

AMATEUR Section: (Open to USCF-rated 1500 thru 1899 and Unrated)

1st - $600.00

2nd - $400.00 .. 3rd - $250.00 .. 1st Under 1700 - $225.00

 

RESERVE Section: (Open to USCF-rated Under 1500 and Unrated)

1st - $500

2nd - $350.00 .. 3rd - $250.00 .. 1st Under 1200 - $225.00

 

** All players must compete within their section per their official rating.  The “USCF Ratings Supplement” used to determine a player's official rating for competition will be “July 2019.”  If a player has a subsequent unpublished rating that is higher than their official rating, the player may enter a higher section upon request. **

Entry Fee: $74 (3-day), $73 (2-day) if rec’d by Jul. 11; $79 at site. (W)GMs and (W)IMs Free. ($60 deducted from cash prizes won). Unrated: $35.  Re-entry: $40 (not available in Championship Section).

3-day schedule: Reg. ends Fri. 7:00 pm; Rds. Fri. 7:30 pm; Sat. 2:30 pm, 7:30 pm; Sun. 10:00 am, 3:30 pm.

2-day schedule: Reg. ends Sat. 10:00 am; Rds. 10:30 am, then merges with 3-day schedule.

 

Time controls: Championship – “40/90, SD/30; d10” – All other sections – “G/120; d10”

All sections -- Two-day Schedule, Rd. 1 “G/90; d5” – (Sat. 10:30am round is not “FIDE-rated”)

 

½ Pt. Byes: Available any round (limit two) -- must request before Round 1 (no changes afterwards).

Players Must Bring Sets, Boards, and Clocks – None Are Supplied By The Tournament Promoters.
